AIS/Network System Specialist

Projektbeschreibung
Brevco Services is currently looking for AIS/Network System Specialists to support a NATO Project in La Spezia, Italy. NATO Secret Security Clearance Required or National Equivalent.
Support the day-to-day administration and monitoring of the CMRE's experimental and scientific IT infrastructure (SCINET) comprising Linux and Microsoft Windows Servers. Additional activities include: second line end-user support in the areas of identity management, e-mail, network connectivity, server services management (file/print/DNS/DHCP), and backup/restore of user data; contribution to the implementation, configuration, troubleshooting of Servers and applications on all CMRE experimental networks.
Relevant experience as follows:
- At least five years relevant experience in maintenance of networked OS (eg Linux Redhat, CentOS, Windows 7, Windows Server);
- Good knowledge and working experience with virtualization technologies based on VMware ESX Server;
- Good knowledge and working experience of Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008 and Active Directory;
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008 file and print services in an enterprise environment;
- Basic experience in supporting field work conducted by means of computing facilities installed on maritime platforms;
- Good knowledge and working experience of network technologies including TCP/IP, iSCSI, and VLANs;
- Basic knowledge of network protocols and network devices;
- Good knowledge of most commonly used office applications and tools;
- Good level of spoken and written English;
- Service minded attitude with a strong interest in working directly with users.
Security Clearance Required: NATO Secret
Language: English, but Italian would also be helpful.
