Airworthiness Engineer

The candidate will be required to support the Airborne Equipment (AE) Airworthiness review as directed by the Project Manager.

The prime tasks will be to

1 ) Assist in the development of an airworthiness strategy

2 ) Develop the quality management system for the AE Team

3 ) Review airworthiness documents and identify deficiencies and solutions

You will need to manage the packages of work to agreed budgets and timelines.

Experience needed: Military airworthiness and MAA regulations, experience of MoD systems such as ASIMS, appreciation of Airborne Delivery Equipment and Airborne Forces, maintaining continued airworthiness, understanding of the MOD AOF.

Ideally, you will have current SC Level Clearance, however as a minimum, you must at least be eligible and willing to undertake the process.

Contract Duration: 3 months + extensions.

The work will be based near Cambridge, although it might be possible for some off site working. Occasional visits to Wiltshire.
