AIRCRAFT TRIALS AND QUALIFICATION ENGINEER - REQUIREMENTS DEVELOPMENTS, TASK MANAGEMENT, LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT, WEAPONS INTEGRATION, DOORS

An Aircraft Trials and Qualification Engineer with Requirements Developments, Task Management, Lifecycle Management, Weapons integration, DOORS is required to work on a twelve month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Preston.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our clients' team dealing with all business streams across all phases of the Aircraft programme. The position will offer a great opportunity to attain a complete overview of our clients' product through the full engineering life cycle.

OVERVIEW OF THE AIRCRAFT TRIALS AND QUALIFICATION ENGINEER CONTRACT ROLE

The role will involve Systems Integration covering all aspects of the product life cycle from:

- Requirements capture
- Test Definition
- Qualification
- Certification

THE TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ENGINEERING GOVERNANCE & OPERATIONAL DELIVERIES. DEPENDENT UPON THE SPECIFIC POSITION SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MAY BE INVOLVED OPERATIONALLY WITH:

- Solution developments
- Requirements Management
- Baseline Definition
- Control of change
- Task Management
- Verification and qualification/certification at all levels
- All underpinned by the mandated governance

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE AIRCRAFT TRIALS AND QUALIFICATION ENGINEER.

- Co-ordination of engineering programmes across disciplines
- Compilation of engineering estimates

- Generation of Engineering Management Plans

The role is based in Lancashire - commutable from Preston, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool, Lancaster and Leeds.
