Aircraft Technician (Fitter)

AIRCRAFT TECHNICIAN (FITTER) - CONTRACT - DORSET - GREAT RATES!

Our client, a leading global Aerospace and Defence company requires an Aircraft Technician (Fitter) to undertake an initial temporary assignment based in Dorset.

The role involves the mechanical maintenance, servicing and repair of airframe and systems on a number of medium sized aircraft in preparation for annual inspections.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Working knowledge of mechanical maintenance to medium sized aircraft including; hydraulic systems, fuel systems, landing gear, air conditioning systems and similar.
- Hold current and valid Human Factors certificate.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Apprenticeship served or similar level of training/experience in Mechanical Aircraft Fitting or very similar.
- Demonstrable experience of carrying out maintenance on medium sized turbo-prop aircraft.
