Aircraft Maintenance Expert

An exciting opportunity has arrived for an Airbus Maintenance specialist to join a global Aircraft Maintenance organisation. You may come from a licensed Aircraft Engineer background, a Maintenance control background or a Technical Record position within an Airline but you will have significant experience of dealing with the maintenance of Airbus aircraft.

Summary

The Specialist will have a key role in the team delivering aircraft prognostic services to our airline clients. The Specialist will work within the Prognostic Services team and couple extensive Airbus system troubleshooting experience together with the business advanced on-line prognostic systems and technologies. The Specialist will assist airline clients with analysis and interpretation of near Real Time aircraft systems data to determine timely maintenance actions that will avoid the impacts of unscheduled maintenance events on the airlines operations, as well as improving maintenance troubleshooting effectiveness. The mission of this organisation is to utilise disruptiveA330 & A340) in an airline environment, to include at least 3 years working in a Maintenance Control Center, Tech Services environment or equivalent.
In depth user knowledge of Airbus World, AirNav and AirmanWeb.
Ability to travel outside of the UK up to ten percent (10%) of time.

Required Characteristics:
Able to work in a client facing technical service role, representing the business to the highest standard.
Substantial experience working with mainstream airline maintenance IT systems including in depth user knowledge of Airbus World, AirNav and AirmanWeb.
Aircraft health management and flight data systems.
Strong oral, written and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills, including the capability to work in teams and with clients
Clear thinker, able to quickly assimilate multiple data and information items and draw accurate conclusions while working under pressure and in a client facing environment.
