I am currently recruiting for a large Government department who are looking for an experienced Aircraft Engineering Desk Officer to join their team in Portsmouth on a 6 month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a highly professional team, helping them ensure Aircraft are fit for purpose.

You will be responsible for providing technical and engineering support on test equipment, including advice on calibration management, technical publications and reliability and maintainability assessments.

You will need to have an ONC or Equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Discipline with up to date practical experience in Electronics calibration. You will also need a detailed understanding of the technical aspects of metrology and an understanding of traceability and measurement uncertainty.
