Airworthiness competency set

The potholder should have knowledge of Air craft systems

- fault investigations
- maintaining airworthiness

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the management of Watchkeeper Maintenance Documentation (MOD Form 700) policy for the Eng1b domain area.

Assist in the management of GOLDesp to ensure all appropriate lifing and maintenance activity is included and up to date for the Eng1b system area.

Assist in the supervision of F760/F765s reports related to the Eng1b specialisation are promptly sentenced processed within timescales set out in MAP-01 and UAST LIs.

Develop, contribute to, and maintain Local Instructions for area of work, as required.

Attendance at technical meetings as required by Eng1b, EA or PE.

Technical support to WK Ground Element Manager as requested.

Investigate and make recommendations (in area of work) on Concessions, maintenance extensions/deferrals for approval by Eng1b and Eng1.

Assist with the management of engineering and airworthiness aspects of the operation and maintenance of the Watchkeeper UAS. Manager for F760/765s relating to equipment that falls within Eng1b domaIN Liaise with industry partners on Watchkeeper Eng1b domain technical matters.

Oversight of configuration management of the equipment that comprises the Eng1b domain.

Oversight of configuration management of the Watchkeeper publications set to ensure currency and completeness for the Eng1b domain of responsibility.

Through-life management of modifications and amendments in Eng1b domain and the provision of advice to stakeholders.

Drafting and providing through-life management of Technical Instructions for Eng1b area.

Assist Eng1b with domain technical issues and taking appropriate action to address fault reports (Mod Form 760), DASOR, User Technical Queries, incidents and accidents.

Attendance as directed at the Ground Element Working Group and other WK Working Groups
