A large well-funded private E&P company with operations throughout the United States is currently seeking a career track oriented Air Permitting Engineer/Scientist for its Tulsa office.

The company is currently operating 2000-2500 wells domestically but the current major focus is on the assets in Wyoming so travel to the area can be expected. Operational areas include WY, OK, LA, NM, CO, SD, & TX.

Job Description

Air Permitting Engineer/Scientist who will handle air permitting, Green House Gas (GHG), emission inventories, and other similar duties for those properties KFOC operates, which include production facilities, gas plants, pipelines and other mid-stream facilities. The engineer/scientist will work with engineers, project managers, and support staff across multiple teams, departments, and offices.

The expectations are that the applicant would be independent and self-sufficient regarding project management, and project work. The actual projects managed will depend, to some degree, on the experience the successful applicant brings to the job. We expect that they would have the experience and ability to execute air quality compliance and permitting projects.

Qualifications:

B.S. in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related degree. Two (2) to five (5+) years of air quality experience helpful.

* Must have demonstrated air quality permitting and compliance experience with oil and gas production facilities, and knowledge of gas plants, and other mid-stream facilities.
* The ideal candidate will have experience related to air quality and must have a strong understanding of air quality issues and services including permitting (Title V, minor source and PSD), to include numerous States and Federal regulations, emissions inventories, air dispersion modeling, health risk assessments, and control technologies in addition to knowledge of the National Environmental Policy Act.
* Excellent communications skills; analytical and problem solving skills.
* Ability to read and decipher State and Federal regulations and ability to summarize and explain such regulations to work associates.
* Ability to apply mathematics, research, gather and organize data from multiple sources.
