AIMS Engineer - Axis Income Management System Contractor - City

Austin Fraser are looking to recruit an individual with experience of the Axis Income Management System, which is used for our client's corporate payments system. The ideal candidate will have worked on AIMS previously being involved with implementation, configuration, support, administration, testing, upgrades and maintenance to agreed standards.

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED ARE:

* Extensive experience of Axis Income Management System
* SQL Server 2005/2008
* SQL
* Crystal Reports XI report design
* Windows Server 2003/2008R2
* Scripting including Batch file creation
* HTML
* Microsoft IIS
* Knowledge of basic accounting
* Remote support of users
* Confident with Software/hardware installations

Other requirements include:

Experience of working in a helpdesk environment using helpdesk software to manage calls logged.

Experience of implementing payment system based projects, working to time, budget and quality.

Experience of planning and managing a mixed and varied workload of conflicting priorities responding effectively to the needs of all customers.

Experience of planning and executing software tests of all application components to verify that the software satisfies specified requirements and to detect errors, using software testing tools where appropriate.

ïProvides ongoing support, development and resolution of issues related to Finance applications, analysing results of investigations and identifying available options for consideration.

Ensures all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures, eg ITIL and ISO27001

Liaises with software suppliers, key users and management regarding problems, unresolved incidents and software releases
