Agile Team Leader (Development)

The contract is with a consultancy in Brussels urgently requiring an experienced Agile Team Leader to be on an assignment at a large European site:- The team to manage is a development team, with 7 to 8 developers.
Most important points are as follows:- EXPERIENCED AND SKILLED IN THE TEAM LEADING FOR AGILE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS
The key here is about team, agile approach and commitment to quality and deadlines; long practice with agile approaches and if possible also Scrum/Kanban; this includes team work organisation aspects peer review, pair programming, code review, retrospective meetings, etc.; planning and project management with agile approaches; experience as team leader for teams of similar size (5 to 10 developers) and with cultural variety; ability to commit the team to a planning (keep deadlines) within quality expected; ability to keep deadlines and quality, while negotiating the scope with business; ability to commit to code quality and application quality levels defined for a project
EXPERIENCED IN BOTH MAINTENANCE AND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES; SOFT SKILLS TO MAKE THE TEAM FOCUSED MOTIVATED AND POSITIVE-MINDED
excellent relational aptitudes is a must; too formal/procedural attitudes are excluded; capacity to motivate a team, to create a good spirit, to resolve conflicts; excellent communication skills and excellent level in English spoken and writte
TECHNICAL SKILLS TO ENSURE QUALITY DELIVERY
mastering concepts and practical aspects of object-oriented analysis, design and development; experience in multiple technologies and domains such as .Net, Java, databases, web front-ends, back-ends, etc.; experience in troubleshooting, preferably for web applications with 4-tier architectures; experience in software delivery/release management
BUSINESS SKILLS TO ENSURE END-USER SATISFACTION
ability to understand, analyse and reformulate user needs; customer-oriented, service-oriented
ADDITIONAL USEFUL SKILLS (NOT MANDATORY)
version control process and tools (such as SVN, TFS, Perforce, ClearCase, etc.); automatic testing and continuous integration; virtual machines
