Agile/Scrum Master - Project Manager

Our large direct client in Warren, NJ is in need of a Scrum Master/IT Project Manager, with solid experience managing in an AGILE environment.

This is a 10 month contract position, with possible extensions.

This Scrum Masters primary responsibilities will be to lead technology teams to successful execution, to leverage Agile, and to encourage teams to follow the Agile framework

Additional responsibilities will vary day-to-day and include educating, training, evangelizing, and encouraging a continuous and transparent process improvement philosophy. This position will manage new teams with limited Agile experience and requires strong leadership for developing/strengthening Agile Methodology capabilities within the client's IT PMO. Experience managing Predictive Analytics Modeling Projects is a significant plus

Overtime: straight time

- 6+ years excellent project management skills
- Solid Agile/Scrum project management experience

(Coach team on agile practices and encourage adaptation by providing the team an environment that fosters Agile via retrospectives, scrums, sprint planning.)
- 2 years managing projects in the Predictive Analytics/Modeling space
- Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management or Professional (PMP) certification
- Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills
- Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong ability to work in a team environment and foster cross-team collaboration
- Bachelor's Degree (required) or Master's Degree (preferred)
