Agile Coach/Scrummaster Job

AGILE COACH/SCRUMMASTER - needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in St Louis, Missouri.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience fulfilling the Scrum Master/XP Coach (or similar) role for at least two years for a software development team.
- Experience being on multiple Agile teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Organizing, supporting, enabling and facilitating a highly talented cross-functional agile team to deliver innovative IT solutions to enable the Development Environment
- Strongly serving and supporting the Product Owner/Champion and Development Team in their quest to do everything possible to satisfy the customer.
- Providing all support to teams using a servant leadership style and leading by example
- Guiding and coaching team on how to get the most out of self organization
- Guiding and coaching teams on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the agile frameworks
- Play an active role in developing our Agile community

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience fulfilling the Scrum Master/XP Coach (or similar) role for at least two years for a software development team.
- Experience being on multiple Agile teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc)
- Track record of continued and recent education in agile practices, including training, conferences, user groups, self study, etc.
- Knowledge of approaches discussed in the agile space: Scrum, XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc
- Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD/TDD, Continuous Integration/Testing/Deployment, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
- Technology savvy - a background in software engineering
- Previous experience as a collaborative leader
- Experience working with remote or distributed teams

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience developing software in accordance with government regulations such as those created by the EPA and FDA
