Agile Coach/Scrum Master

ROLE: AGILE COACH/SCRUM MASTER
DURATION: 3 MONTHS INITIALLY

LOCATION: AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS

SKILLS & DESCRIPTION:

- Be an evangelist for the Agile culture and take a lead role in ensuring the continued success of the Scrum process.
- Coach and work closely with all areas of the business to propagate the Agile way of working.
- Facilitate and lead the following meeting and activities:
- Sprint Planning
- Sprint Reviews
- Backlog Grooming
- Work closely with the Programme Manager and Product Owner to assist with Planning and Sprint allocation.
- Participate in the Scrum of Scrums.
- Continuous improvement: recommend new and improved processes for the team as well as the wider program by harvesting from team and program retrospectives.
- Monitor and assess the team, guiding them in the core principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability, visibility, and self-management.
- Track velocity and burn-down rate, facilitate Agile estimating of Sprint backlog and total Backlog.
- Protect the team from external and internal distractions and interference.
- Identify and remove impediments to the team's successful delivery of the sprint goal.
- Facilitate discussion within the team and ensure conflict resolutions.
- Manage the correct resourcing of the team to ensure the correct mix of skills to deliver the Product Owner expectations.
