Purpose and Description: 
The incumbent will lead, mentor, and coach other team members across organizations in effective use of Scrum practices. We are looking for an individual with strong leadership and communication abilities in addition to the required agile skills for this challenging position. Activities include developing and implementing Agile best practices, policies, procedures, and templates and coordinating Agile project delivery across multiple teams. Also includes developing and implementing a dashboard with key analytics relative to Agile project delivery. Must be self motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills. Provides team leadership and leads the team to ownership. Must have demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines. 

Essential Functions: 
Lead scrum team of 6-10 people 
Assess current processes and develop heat map to outline strategy for organizational improvement 
Measure results and effectiveness of implemented improvements 
Coach on raising level of effectiveness of communication across all levels in the organization 
Collaborate with other organizational leaders to plan and implement best practices 
Identify relevant best practices that align with organizational mission, goals, and strategic direction that overall will improve quality of delivery and improved relationships with partner organizations and stakeholders. 

Required Experience: 
5 years experience implementing scrum and agile best practices in a large organization 
5 years experience as a Scrum Master on a software development team 
5 years experience developing and implementing standardized policies, procedures, and templates and creating organizational best practices 
10 years project or program management experience with oral and written communication skills and demonstration of excellent business presentation skills. 

Preferred Experience: 
PMP or Project Management Professional Certification 
Scrum Master certification 
Excellent analytical skills. 

Required Education: 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related

We will be going over the candidate's background and covering their experience in coaching software development organizations in the implementation of Scrum. 

Standard Work Hours: 
Flexible - normally you will be working normal business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Some adjustment may be needed as scheduling conflicts arise.
