Agile Business Analyst - Risk/Agriculture/Trading

A major client of mine based in Geneva, Switzerland, are currently looking for an Agile Business Analyst with great experience with Agile/Scrum and in Risk to join their team on what would be an initial 6 month contract. The rate for this role is offering up to CHF 866 (£590 but to be paid in CHF).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work directly with business personnel to define project concept, scope, objectives and agree the approach.
- Take assigned project from original concept through final implementation.
- Plan and organize the system implementations and rollouts
- Create and maintain project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time requirements, establishing deadlines, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project life cycle, providing timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinating actions, and resolving conflicts. This includes documenting, prioritizing and tracking requests (changes, enhancements, etc.) and coordinating with the Change Control Board.
- Process Definition and Design - business process modelling
- Collect, understand, and transmit the business requirements for the project, and translate these into functional specifications and detailed test plans.
- User Training
- Work with vendors to ensure specifications are accurate and costs are managed

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 5 to 10 years of experience in managing IT projects ideally in banking or trading environment
- Project Management in banking or trading environment
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of Market Risk, Credit Risk software applications
- Business Analysis skills for process discovery and modelling
- Strong CUSTOMER ORIENTATION AND FLEXIBILITY are key to succeed
