Agile Business Analyst

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Agile Business Analyst to work on a software development project. The applications development division uses Scrum as the development methodology for all bespoke software development.

DUTIES:

- Develop requirements in the form of user stories
- Work with Software developers to translate user stories for design and coding
- Work with testers to determine acceptance criteria for user stories
- Create business case documentation
- Create other process artefacts that assist the team in articulating the solutions
- Work with users and existing documentation to understand, communicate and document requirements
- Workshop facilitation of agile meetings
- Facilitate training and related documentation

BACKGROUND:

- Minimum 5+ years business analysis experience working in an applications development team building web applications
- Minimum 3+ years Agile experience, working on Agile projects, preferably using Scrum
- Understanding and experience with data, functional and UI modelling
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work with the scrum master and product owner to groom the product backlog
- Proven experience in developing user stories, working with the development teams to establish solutions, acceptance criteria and release notes for deployments
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to work with an applications architect to deliver requirement specifications and detailed design documents during project execution
- Tertiary qualifications including computing industry/business qualifications or substantial equivalent experience in the information technology industry.
