Aerospace Project Manager

An exceptional opportunity with a leading organisation on the south coast. We are looking to speak with candidates with a strong technical background that have experience of Project Management.

The Role

Provide leadership and motivation to the multi-disciplined Team Act as the point of contact with the customer for project delivery Maintain effective communication and coordination throughout the overall project team. Plan and execute the project in accordance with internal and where applicable, external processes (eg Customer requirements). Co-ordinate all internal data preparation and management activities to run the project in compliance with our client's processes. Ensure that internal planning of resources and facilities is effective to support programme delivery and wider business management resource management needs. Support the need to establish and maintain customer satisfaction Management of project non- recurring and recurring costs to meet programme budget cost.

Skills/requirements

Proven leadership of project delivery. Good understanding of project management principles and practises. (EVMS, Risk, Scheduling, Contingency, Critical Path) Ability to understand and analyse problems. Goal orientation and action-focused. Good interpersonal skills. Drive, enthusiasm and initiative. Tact and diplomacy with good communication skills. Project Finance skills. Good facilitator/mediator, able to resolve conflict. Commercial acumen.
Project delivery to specification, cost and schedule. Satisfactory compliance with project metrics, as defined by internal processes and the project management plan. Accurate reporting. Effective project resource management

Degree qualified - technical or business management. Demonstrated experience in multi-disciplined project schedule and financial management. Min 3 years demonstrable. Project Management leadership role.
