Aeronautical Engineer (SC Clearance Mandatory)

I am looking to hire Aeronautical Engineer for our defense sector client.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lynx Wildcat PT Aeronautical Engineer Project Manager (AE PM) responsible for the following Safety Enhancement DO modifications:
- Lynx Mk 9A TAS, Lynx Mk 8 TAS, Wilcat AH Mk 1 & Mk 2 TAS. As the AE PM, responsible for managing the above modifications to completion on behalf of Lynx-Wilcat Cap Proj, this post is to ensure: Delivery within approved Performance, Time & Cost as detailed in the relevant Business Cases.
- If there is a risk this cannot be achieved, raise the matter to Cap Proj and supporting mitigation action as required.
- Deliver these safety enhancements whilst maximising TAS commonality across the Lynx & Wildcat fleets Achieve best value for Defence in progressing these modifications.
- Ensure all DLODs have been actioned as required in order to field these modifications. Coordinate all modification activity with key stakeholders.
- Ensure an effective Through Life Support (TLS) solution is put in-place to support these modifications Represent Lynx-Wildcat Cap Proj at meetings related to these modifications as required.
- Ensure all actions are completed to enable these modifications to be handed over to the In-Service team.
- Share knowledge and expertise with other PTs within the Hels OC who are procuring similar systems. Carry out others appropriate tasks as directed by Cap Proj or Cap Proj1
