Daily Rate: Dependant on experience - Aeronautical Engineer - £300 - £400+

Duration- 8 Month Initial Contract

Location: Bristol

MINIMUM CLEARANCE LEVEL: SC CLEARANCE (SECURITY CLEARANCE)

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensuring Military Aircraft Certification Process (MACP) and that a Type Certification Basis (TCB) has been agreed
- Developing platform(s) Airworthiness Strategy
- Aircraft derived from a civil type and their design is under-pinned by a Civil Type Certification (CTC) consider any deviation between military operating environment and the Assumed Usage Spectrum
- Develop and managing the Aircraft Document Set - including but not limited to: Airworthiness Strategy, Statement of Operating Intent and Usage, RTS Recommendations, The Safety Management System and create the Hazard Risk register, Aircrew publications,
- Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL) (5) Ensuring the platforms suitability for military registration and taking into account CAA CAP562 Leaflet B40
- Consider contractual arrangement that provide CAA oversight of the operational, maintenance and engineering and design activities
- Consider the following activities and ensure systems and processes are in place to manage them Post design Services, Impendent Technical Evaluation and Independent Safety Assurance, Aircraft Equipment Assemblies integration, Noise & Vibration evaluation
- The post holder is to ensure appropriate liaison with the Authority PM's, the RAF RTSA and the Ascent Airworthiness Manager and PMs

KEY SKILLS

- Responsible to the Principal Engineer - King Air and Future FW Platforms for managing the Certification and Release To Service requirements for all Future FW programmes and is specifically responsible for
