AEM Architect (Brussels)

A leading global consultancy client requires an experienced AEM Architect. You will serve as the subject matter expert and leader, responsible for technical advisory to business partners and the development teams for solution development. You will architect, design, document, and enable custom development on the AEM system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the overall design and architecture of a system, platform, technical strategy, and overseeing the design and implementation of an application on the platform/system.
- Architecting, writing, and reviewing technical specifications and overseeing construction of Adobe platform solutions based on functional specification for new components.
- Providing consultation to application teams
- Responsible for production, development, QA of Adobe platform-based solutions.
- Help plan tools deployment

DEV EXPERIENCE:

- Candidate must have hands-on development experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x) platform components, templates, workflows, and other AEM building blocks.
- Responsibilities include developing code specifically for AEM; enhancing the AEM platform's architectural design and functionality, & hands-on AEM code maintenance of highly transactional and interactive web sites.
- This candidate will do system-level integration, and automated unit testing of our AEM platform.
- Candidate will be responsible for integrating AEM with a vast array of APIs.
- Candidate will contribute to major AEM technical discussions and AEM enhancement initiatives related to improving customer experience, usability, latest web technologies, prototype development etc.
- At times may lead/supervise the work of other individuals assigned to the projects within the team to ensure the accountability for goals, objectives, and operational policies are achieved.
