Advanced MYSQL DBA - Munich for six Month Contract Position or Permane

Advanced MySQL DBA skills for which we might need to recruit a contractor (6 months), or a permanent staff. In this case the job description is similar to the previous one with the exception that MySQL is the core technology and Oracle is a plus.

Major Responsibilities
Overall administration for multiple Databases. Installation, implementation, upgrading, patching of Database products. Customization, maintenance and support under 24x7 operational conditions. Work closely with development in planning and promoting product, features, and releases. Problem determination & debugging. Diagnostic and tuning strategy for OLTP commercial applications. Evaluation of new products and/or technologies.

Ihr Profil
Know-how and Skills
Strong core technology skills with hands-on exposure to latest versions Fundamental H/W and OS knowledge required (HPUX, Sun Solaris, AIX, and Linux). Good analytical and trouble-shooting skills. Willing to learn new technologies. Absolute team player. English Proficiency is essential. Ability to converse easily and clearly with colleagues and customers. Courtesy and tack upon exchange of information. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who can identify issues and work with the appropriate people across multiple organizations to make things happen. Relevant Job Experience 3+ years as DBA (technical field) Strong technical skills. Golden Gate and MySQL experience is a plus.
