Business Intelligence Analyst
Paying up to £220 per day

Our client, a South West London Local Authority, require a Business Intelligence Analyst.

Purpose:

Duties

1.To undertake quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to inform plans, policy and commissioning arrangements and performance improvement in the Adults and Community Services Directorate.

2.Produce analytical and insightful performance reports for the Adults Safeguarding Partnership Board, Care and Support Partnership Board and other strategic meetings.

3.Produce needs analysis to support the updating of the JSNA, equalities profiles and a range of strategies in adult social care.

4.To undertake benchmarking and to collate data relevant to planning future services, including demographic information, national statistics on care provision and other information as required by the service.

5.To be responsible for undertaking national and local surveys ensuring the survey results are produced to agreed national and local deadlines. This includes visiting service users when required to assist with the completion of surveys.

6.Provide advice and guidance on the structuring of questionnaires and ensure surveys are structured in line with current research methodologies so that results can be effectively analysed by the post holder.

7.To use specialist IT software programmes such as SPSS and GIS to analyse research data and produce reports

8.To lead on research governance in adult social care ensuring appropriate governance processes are followed when assistance when research projects are requested

9.To undertake all duties and interactions with employees, partner providers and customers fairly, without unlawful discrimination and with due regard to the Council's equality, diversity and health and safety polices.

10.To work together with the Performance Information Manager to ensure performance analysis needs and insight are met across the directorate. This will include representing the team at internal and external meetings in the absence of the Performance Information Manager.
