Adobe CQ5 Developer

Job Description: Position Responsibilities: * Lead development efforts on Adobe CQ5 Implementation * Advise business on planning and execution considerations for Adobe CQ5 * Communicate within a highly matrixed organization Experience: * Developer/Architect with skills in (Adobe) Day's CQ5 platform * Experience working with creative Web design teams to implement Web designs in CQ5: Templating sites for Adobe CQ5 (CSS, JavaScript, and HTML) * Writing custom components in Java for Day CQ5 * Expertise in a JavaScript library (jQuery preferred) - not just wiring up events on the DOM * At least 2 years experience with J2EE applications * 5-10 years overall development experience * Managing CQ5 sites hosted in the cloud and premised based structure * Experience with a Server Side framework and page templating * Experience with version control (Subversion) and build (Maven/Ant) * Experience writing code for humans, not just machines * Management experience in a technical organization Experience in these related technologies is required: * Digital Asset Management Implementation * Apache * Sling * JCR * Jackrabbit * Felix * Adobe CQ5 (Enterprise Web Content Management System)
