ADMINISTRATOR/RECEPTIONIST - CONTRACT - GLOUCESTERSHIRE

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator/receptionist to join our fantastic client in Gloucestershire. DV Clearance is required for this role.

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:

The position will be Full time within the existing team supporting a programme that is providing key services for both the Customer and our client's enterprises. The position requires a sound administration/receptionist background.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support the Office Manager as required and directed, including cover in periods of absence, predominantly in the areas of reception, meeting support and general office administration.
- Receptionist duties including answering phone calls and engaging with customers (some at very senior level) face to face.
- Develop specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish tasks.
- Analyse information and evaluate results to identify appropriate solutions and solve problems.
- Support security and resourcing functions as required and directed.
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks to include but not limited to: organising meetings, minute/action recording, photocopying, and material destruction.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, diary management and other office procedures and terminology.
- Demonstrable experience in an Administrator/Receptionist role.
- Common sense and a 'can do' attitude.
- Discreet in the handling of personal or sensitive information.
- Highly Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Sound communication (oral and written) skills; the ability to listen effectively, react appropriately to feedback and construct an effective working environment.
- Good Interpersonal skills including the ability to deal with customers/clients at senior level in person or by phone.
- Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain these over time .
- Ability to work under pressure and be pro-active in prioritising issues.
- Ability to operate independently.
- Must possess the highest personal standards and integrity at all times
- Confident self starter capable of handling a myriad of enquires/problems using own initiative
- The ability to work in a multi-company environment on a high profile programme.
- Demonstrate excellent time management.

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Willingness to take on new challenges.
- Knowledge of UK Policy and requirements in handling data and records.
- Strong IT and communication skills.
- Composed and effective.
- Office Management Experience.
- First Aid Training.
- Health and Safety/DSE awareness or training.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

GCSE's or equivalent with demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks.

You will be required to hold a minimum of DV security clearance.
