We currently require an Administrator to work for Serco Occupational Health is Taunton. Working hours are Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 5pm. This is a Fixed Term position untill the end of August.

MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILTY:

- To carry out administrative duties for the occupational team and department
- Organisation of Occupational Health (OH) records
- Liaison with clients/managers and staff
- To support the OH professionals in service delivery
- To support with health promotion related to the main business issues/risks as determined by the SOHA

KEY DUTIES:

General office administration:-

- Reception duties
- Dealing with telephone queries & face to face queries
- Post collection and distribution/ photocopying/ faxing/ answering telephone & email enquiries/ fault reporting

OH office administration:-

- Manage clinic appointments
- Word processing activities/tables
- Electronic usage using bespoke OH Admin system -Cohort
- Keep files and filing system in good order
- Paper filing of OH medical records
- Making up files
- Archiving of OH medical records
- Maintaining confidentiality of OH records

Display Screen Equipment:-

- Actively involved with IT Liaise with Serco Occupational Health and training regarding dates and requirements for ergonomic assessor training and refresher training

Health promotion:-

- Support the programme of health promotion initiatives which have been identified by the SOHA

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

- Good IT skills - Outlook, Excel, Word,
- Competent typist with good grammatical and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Able to work on own initiative
- Good time management skills
- Flexible (able to respond to business demands)
- Customer service skills
- Able to work to deadlines
- Able to integrate and work effectively with existing OH team
- Able to work with confidential medical information
