Administrative Officer - Security Operations Advisor

Our client, a major mobile telecommunications provider is currently recruiting for a Security Operations administrator.

The main responsibilities of the role include:
- Responsible for the Security communications within the region and supporting the Regional Security Director all communication activities.
- Responsibility to ensure that we work as one Security within region by driving security awareness activities by;
- Creating and maintaining a regional Intranet presence
- Ensuring security branding is consistent across all sites within the region
- Ensure content is relevant and meets the needs of the business
- Promoting security directives within the region as issued by Group Security
- Keeping check of actions and initiatives from the Local Security Managers based on eg audit findings and self assessments and ensure that where ever possible best practice is established and implemented regionally.
- Support with security incidents and investigations and manage the Security incident database for the region.
- Lead regional programs of work such as the regional Crisis management working group.
- Ensure that Monthly and quarterly security reports are created and distributed.
- Track actions and ensure that plans and targets are updated quarterly

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Preference will be given to applicants who also have experience in a security related role, including:

Risk Management, Information-, Personnel-, Physical security, BCM, Crisis Management
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 and other relevant security standards
- IS/IT Competence in:- MS Office, Website management,
