Currently seeking an experienced Admin/Office Coordinator, to be based at my clients offices in Newbury, Berkshire, on a contracting opportunity with an initial duration of 12 months with view for possible further extension.

EXPERIENCE

- Experience of organising and providing administrative assistance in an office environment
- Experience of taking and writing minutes, summarizing discussions and writing quotes is essential
- Experience of using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Able to work on customer site based in Newbury

Works on customer project delivery, under supervision, as, team member or in a project support role

Provides subject matter support in all areas of the Project Management Body of Knowledge to the project.

Supports project financial management

Works with Client and Account Team staff as required
- Client relationships are typically at the peer or first management level

Supports project team
- May lead internal as well as external resources in a predefined area
- May provide performance feedback on project team members

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

- Applies developed knowledge of the job skills, company policies and procedures to complete a wide variety of difficult assignments/tasks
- Thorough understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job
- Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature and require ordinary problem resolution and independent judgment
- Works under limited supervision and normally receives no instructions on routine work and general instructions given for new assignments
- Intermediate to senior level administrative knowledge and skills and senior level knowledge in some administrative tasks
- Has the ability to work with multiple issues/projects and has the experience/ability to support more than one employee's general administrative needs
- Ability to judge independently and proactively take steps to resolution of issues and experience/ability to support more than one employee's general administrative needs
- May be regarded as the primary administrative employee of a work unit
- Specific advanced level of software skills as required by the work unit
- Good understanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
- Understand the broader HP organization
- Able to use the HP systems, Travel, Expenses and Perform2 Win
