The administrator is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and project-oriented activities in support of their function.

The role may team lead within the functional area and perform activities such as co-ordinating workflow, allocating resources and supervising others


- Provide administrative services to the senior team, coordinating complex meetings and off-site events, diary arrangements and travel in line with AZ policy
- Co-ordinate, produce, maintain, collate, reconcile and communicate figures and information at the detailed level to defined quality standards, possibly of a technical or statistical nature
- Produce reports or analyses to quality standards and provide interpretation of data to defined briefs to support the smooth functioning of the business area
- Liaise with customers on non-typical, sensitive or complex issues and effectively resolve customer issues
- Participate in establishing an understanding of (internal) customer requirements to ensure that planned activities and services meet needs, and in monitoring those services and activities to ensure requirements are fully met
- Organise, control and deliver specific administrative activities to achieve personal and team targets under guidance
- Lead and motivate any assigned staff within defined parameters, ensuring they deliver their responsibilities effectively
- Control small projects with guidance, ensuring delivery of project outputs according to plan, reviewing and refining plans as necessary
- May co-ordinate workflow management and mentor junior team members to ensure effective allocation of resource



- Prior administrative experience
- Ability to follow processes
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good skills in the use of office equipment and PC applications
- Good Customer Service Skills


- Relevant vocational qualifications
- Specialist knowledge in relation to administrative/business support activities in the relevant area
- Team management skills
