ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in INDIANAPOLIS, IN.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS OF YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Background as an Administrative Assistant in Human Resource Department.
- Knowledge in federal FMLA and ADAAA
- Background in recruiting, payroll, benefits, company policies and general inquiries.

WHAT WILL THE YOU WILL BE DOING:

- Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
- Prioritizes fluctuating work requirements, ensuring key milestones are achieved; coordinates schedules, travel, and meetings, as requested, may write correspondence; assigned special projects; and prepares and proofreads documents and presentations using appropriate software applications.
- Provides administrative support for human resource management in the areas of training, employee relations, recruiting and placement, compensation and/or benefits.
- Provides information to employees on company policies and programs; collects data in support of monthly HR performance metrics and prepares statistics and reports; furnishes information to authorized persons; and may track departmental budget; paying invoices, researching and resolving budget problems; and completes data entry of employee data into the HR Information System.
- Serves as a front-line contact for Human Resources Department and contributes in carrying out various Human Resources programs, projects and process improvements.
- Adheres to policies and procedures.
- Responds to unemployment claims as appropriate to facilitate dispute process.
- Facilitates the onboarding process for all new associates
- Completes data entry to maintain associate files in HRIS system.
- Serves as local point of contact for Company leave of absence policy and ensure compliance with Federal FMLA and ADAAA.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Four (4) or more years in an administrative role in a Human Resources Department.
- Proficiency in MS Office systems including, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Oracle
