Responsibilities :
The Managed Refresh Administrative Assistant role is responsible for:
Follow-up phone calls to unresponsive users who have not yet requested a new PC, setup a new PC, or had recovered an old PC
Tracking/reporting reasons for users not responding/setting up/recovering
Completing PC request process on behalf of user
Responding to email questions in PC Management mailbox and managing mailbox folders
Creating purchase requisitions for PC's and peripherals
Creating quotes/orders on PC vendor web site
Update Microsoft Office content for Knowledge Transfer related to above processes/functions
Utilize applications and databases to query user and PC information
Basic Requirements:
Ability to work 35-40 hours per week
Ability to work daily shifts of 7-8 hours, between the hours of 7 AM and 6 PM
Skills :
General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook, and Microsoft Windows XP
ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT EXCEL INCLUDING EXPERIENCE WITH THE "VLOOKUP" FUNCTION
Knowledge of PC hardware/software platforms
Excellent grammar, typing, data entry, and telephone skills including the ability to clearly communicate with a global audience
High standards of integrity
Dependable, reliable, and capable of delivering high-quality work deliverables consistently
High level of initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision Preferred Requirements
EXPERIENCE WITH CREATING PURCHASE ORDERS AND REQUISITIONS, PREFERABLY USING ORACLE ERP
Familiarity with Dell global portal
Familiarity with Dell Latitude, Optiplex, and Precision line of PC's
