Administration Geologist - Perth

An opportunity is available to join a multi-national diversified mining and exploration company in the role of Administration Geologist in Perth.

The company are offering an interesting role with a focus on a range of commodities including iron ore, copper, nickel, gold and Platinum with good opportunities for career development.

The main purpose of the role is to provide support to the exploration and management team

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Full Tenement Administration duties
- Preparing and updating corporate presentation figures
- Preparing maps and figures for reports as required
- Updating company GIS data files
- Assisting DBA with data entry and validation duties
- Follow up data validation issues with field staff
- Proving support to exploration teams in Australia and overseas
- Organising equipment, repairs and supplies as required

Experience and qualifications required for this role:

- Practical experience and understanding of exploration and tenement system
- Computer literacy and experience of MapInfo
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Able to work unsupervised
- Attention to detail
- Professional, flexible and friendly
- Good work ethic

A salary of between $90,000 - $120,000 + Super is available for this role with salaries outside of this range considered for exceptional candidates.
