An Administration Assistant is required by Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a PA role in a banking environment and be experienced in supporting Senior VPs and Directors.
Duties will include:
* Providing all PA assistance to a 2-3 Senior Vice President's and their teams, including full diary management
* Booking and making all necessary arrangements for business travel and processing the subsequent expenses claims in Concur
* Organising internal meetings, town halls, skip levels etc.
* Raising purchase requests, processing and coding of invoices in Ariba eRequest
* Maintaining attendance records (ie holidays and sickness)
* Management of personnel information and cost centre changes
* Central point of contact for team and visitors from other regions
Skills Required:
* Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint
* Proven time management skills
* Flexibility of approach including willingness to work overtime as required
* Proactive style and ability to work without supervision
* Excellent communication skills - able to communicate well at all levels under time pressure
Personal Qualities:
* Must be able to manage multiple and changing priorities at once
* Must be pro-active and diligent and be confident in making decisions
* Must be polite and have a professional attitude, establishing professional and effective communication at all times
* Offer discretion and confidentiality at all times
* Team player; sense of humour essential
