ABOUT FIDELITY GROWTH PARTNERS EUROPE

Fidelity Growth Partners Europe (FGPE), is the European venture capital and growth capital arm of Moonray Investors. FGPE invests in high growth European technology companies on behalf of Fidelity entities. FGPE raised a £100m fund and is at the early stages of deploying this, and also manages approximately 100m in Legacy investments. The team aims to achieve significant returns through investing in privately negotiated minority stakes in companies creating products or services based on emerging technologies, working with the entrepreneurs to maximise their success. We typically invest £2m-£10m million per company and are active Board Members for the companies we invest in. The Fidelity Growth Partners Europe team works alongside the other in-house venture capital teams, Fidelity Growth Partners Asia and Fidelity Growth Capital India.

PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE

The role covers a variety of areas including; managing diaries, travel arrangements, event management and co-ordination with other departments.

YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Diary Management, organising meetings, responsible for ensuring that the member is aware of the meetings scheduled and that they have any relevant documentation prior to the meeting.
- Co-ordinating travel and accommodation arrangements, including itineraries, flights, taxis, etc.
- Booking meeting rooms and catering if required
- Liaising with our independent IT company to report any problems with PC's/laptops/mobile phones/phones and ensure that any fault is fully rectified
- Processing of expenses for the team and ensuring they adhere to FIL Travel meet regularly with and question its management; and then speak to its competitors, suppliers, customers and anyone else who might give them information that helps to assess whether the investment is a good one. Every investment in every portfolio is selected on its merit and ability to contribute to a better return.
