RECEPTIONIST/ADMIN ASSISTANT - HOOK HAMPSHIRE 3 MONTH CONTRACT

My client is a leading government agency based in Hook, Hampshire and they are in need or a skilled Receptionist to join their team on an on-going contract basis for an initial 3 month period.

The successful applicant will carry out the following duties on a daily basis:
* Welcoming visitors invited for meeting and interviews
* Assisting with travel and hospitality arrangements including booking flight/accommodation
* Provide general administrative support including taking calls, directing visitors mail and general documentation duties
* Taking concise telephone messages and forwarding them on
* Maintaining internal contact lists of numbers and addresses
* Photocopying, logistical requirements such as ordering stationery and consumables
* Maintaining/applying security regulations for incoming/outgoing guests

Skills Required to Include:
* Solid experience in a similar role
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a successful team
* Ability to perform well under pressure
* Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
* Computer literate especially in the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel and Outlook
