JOB TITLE: ADM Solutions Deployment Manager

LOCATION: Brussels (Belgium)

DESCRIPTION:

Our Client is looking for a PACKAGED APPLICATION MANAGER to manage with all stakeholders the requested evolution (typically: small enhancements)

FUNCTIONS:

Typical roles for an Application Manager include:

- Monitor of activities carried out on the applications in scope in terms of planning,performance, costs and deadline.
- Ensure the quality of the application in scope.
- Make sure that the changes requested and accepted for the applications in scope will be implemented following the requirements, that these changes are integrated in the various documents of the portfolio, and that the result is coherent.
- Organize the different monitoring meetings with the maintenance team, including businesses, architects, and other involved IT teams.
- Distribute regular progress reports.
- Be, as application expert, the point of contact for incident and problem management for the application(s) in scope.
- Of course, as each application belongs to an "asset", this activity is executed in close collaboration with the asset manager in charge.

Besides his coordination role, this "Packaged Application Manager" also contributes himself to the delivery:

- Discuss the specifications with the business.
- Actively contributes to all technical and functional discussions with all involved stakeholders (IT or business).
- Estimates the workload needed for the implementation.
- Defines, applies and maintains the parameterizations needed for the chosen solution.
- When needed, realizes (and let's the vendor realize) the changes absolutely needed from the vendor to meet the processes, technical rules and standards (architecture, security, release management, etc ).
- Prepares the detailed instructions allowing the deployment of the solution
- Organizes the operational support with the involved teams (including 2nd or 3rd levels support).

KEY SKILLS:

- Fluent in written and spoken English and/or (French & Dutch) - Candidates with all 3 will be Preferred
- Master/Bachelor Degree or equivalent by experience.
- Team player.
- Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude.
- Good Communication and Influencing skills.
- Good analytical and synthesis skills.
- Autonomy, commitment and perseverance in personal organization.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment.
- Strictness in activity follow-up.

- EXPERIENCE: 3 to 5 years of experience in similar function.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- IT Service or Project Management experience.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and/or (French & Dutch) - Candidates with all 3 will be Preferred
- 2 to 5 years experience in a distributed IT environment:
- - Windows and/or Unix.
- - Security.
- - Web (IIS, WebSphere).
- - Databases (SQL server and/or Oracle).
- - Development (.Net (C#), ASP, Java).
- - XML

PREFERABLE:

- Knowledge of BNP Paribas Fortis environment is considered as an advantage.
- CMMi/Harmony/ITIL processes.
- Practical experience for applications deployment on distributed platforms is a major advantage.
- Combined knowledge of several technologies is an advantage.
