Job description Adaptive Infrastructure Architect
Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems. Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.

- Interacts with senior management at client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.
- Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
- Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

We expect applicants to be creative and energetic with a strong interest in technology. They should have broad skills and experience with multiple software products, infrastructure, technologies and services and be capable of shaping and delivering innovative technology solutions of heterogeneous components.

Successful candidates for the roll of Adaptive Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for:
- Architecting complex IT solutions based on emerging technologies for Accenture's clients;
- Developing strong relationships with technology vendors to influence emerging product strategies;
- Developing new IT frameworks, methods
- Estimating Technology Architecture solution complexity
- Designing
- Defining Technology Strategies, Blueprints and Roadmaps.

Place in the organization
Within Accenture's Technology practice, the Emerging Technology Innovation (ETI) group is responsible for pioneering and championing the use of advanced and emerging technology architectures in Accenture's clients, such as Next-Generation Architectures, Digital Solutions, Platform-as-a-Service, Big Data, Visual Analytics, Extreme Transaction Processing systems, Robotics and Autonomous Devices, Adaptive Infrastructure, etc.

Accenture's Emerging Technology Innovation practice provides a unique opportunity for entrepreneurial Technology Architects to be focused on emerging technologies and finding opportunities to architect the next generation, large-scale business systems and infrastructure at our clients, working with some of Accenture's clients.

Qualifications Adaptive Infrastructure Architect
Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
Experience in Execution Architectures/Technology Architectures.
Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable.

3 years' experience in one of the following:
- Management of server, storage (SAN/NAS) networking or security;
- Emerging Technology (Open Stack, Open Compute, Eucalyptus, Amazon Web Services);
- Robotics/Sensors/Autonomous vehicles;

DevOps, continuous release.

1 year experience in virtualization technologies (Example: Citrix Xen, Hyper-V, LPARs, VPARs, Logical Domains, Zones, and/or Containers)

Professional Skill Requirements Adaptive Infrastructure Architect :
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment;
- Desire to work in an information systems environment;
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
