Job description

Our client in Hamburg, the provider of the world biggest and famous online search engine, is looking for an account manager (m/f) for their RTB/Programmatic ad exchange team, which is a key part of their overall display strategy, providing closer interaction between their display platforms and media businesses. You’ll be a critical part of a fast-growing business that’s at the forefront of the transformational change taking place in media buying.

This role is about moving Demand Side Platform (DSPs) to he next level of Programmatic in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH). This includes DACH-based DSPs as well as the DACH-focused business of international DSPs.

You will be responsible for driving various activities like promoting mobile, private auctions, support in developing the DSPs' business with agencies/advertisers and market evangelization. You will work closely work with various stakeholders in DSPs, agencies, direct advertisers and the internal organization in order to leverage this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual goals by growing the programmatic business of DSPs
- Leverage, develop and maintain relationships with contacts on all levels and across countries/regions
- Remove roadblocks for growth
- Evangelize contacts and their advertising clients
- Align with external and internal stakeholders inside to maximize impact
- Discover new business and partnership opportunities

Qualifications:

- Solid understanding of Programmatic advertising
- Strong online sales and business-development skills
- Solid understanding of advertising technology and hands-on experience in identifying and resolving technical issues
- Good understanding of the Programmatic and especially DSP landscape
- Fluent German and English language skills
