INTERIM ACUTE INSIGHT ANALYST

My client is an international Betting and Gaming company based in London

The role holder will be responsible for working with various teams within the business to deliver insight around customer behaviour with a view to understanding how our products are working and where improvements lay. Additionally you will be looking into acute performance issues within the business making recommendations on reasons and actions to rectify.

A key requirement for this role is the ability to understand a business problem and to produce insight which allows the business to make the best decision on which course of action to take. To be a success in this role you must have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to turn numbers into insight that your audience can understand and use.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understanding customer trends, developing segmentation and predicting behaviours and performance and a micro- and macro- level
- Monitoring customer value. Track value of customers by segment, establish & monitor LTV.
- Understand and track customer journey - routes into the business and product, identifying key customer movements and behaviours.
- Partnering with product owners in digital and retail to drive changes and upgrades.
- Producing best in class visualisations using industry-leading software to help stakeholders understand complex customer behaviours and patterns
- Supporting the business with ad-hoc analysis and reporting on campaigns and promotions.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Knowledge of data mining and statistical techniques including linear and logistical regression, CHAID, clustering would be an advantage.
- SQL query writing skills to extract data from warehouses with the ability to translate the raw data into meaningful analysis.
- Gaming experience and/or an interest in sports betting would be an advantage although this is not a necessity.
- A numerate degree with excellent attention to detail
- 2 years + experience in customer focussed analysis dealing with large datasets.
- Tableau and or OBIEE skills a distinct advantage
