Acute Healthcare System Procurement Expert

My Client is a Major Government Body, who are looking for a highly experienced procurement interim. The ideal candidate will help to provide insights into the different procurement structures used in open source software in the health sector and wider industry. Also to help provide insight into the merits and risks of using different procurement vehicles for open source software. Ideally, the chosen candidate will have strong public sector and health sector experience.

Job Purpose:
To assist in the successful creation of the appropriate frameworks and other procurement structures required to allow my Client to ensure that Open Source software can be deployed throughout the organisation with the necessary safeguards and warranties.

Job Description:

*Provide insights into the different procurement structures used in open source software in healthcare and wider industry.
*Provide insight into the merits and risks of using different procurement vehicles for open source software particularly relating to Healthcare.
*Lead in the development of the appropriate contracts and other documents required to deliver the agreed procurement approaches.

Skills Required:

The individual will have a good understanding of procurement routes and frameworks for open source based systems and services including:

* Public sector experience
* Healthcare experience
* Contract Law
* EU Procurement Procedures
* Best practice contract management approaches
* Best practice relationship management approaches
* ICT Project Delivery methodologies (esp. Prince II, Agile, Waterfall)
* Model ICT contract forms,
* Domain expertise in relation to ICT Procurement and Contract Management
* Leading multiple contracts through implementation and into service and will be proficient in the production of high quality documentation.
