Acute Contracts Manager

Role: Contracts Manager Location: Surrey Rate: £300-£450 p/d Start Date: ASAP Responsibilities: - Annual contract negotiation and documentation. - Support the CCG to translate their commissioning intentions and priorities into contracts. - Monthly contract monitoring and management. - Quality and Performance Management. - Support Senior Contracts Manager to lead the host commissioner's role to ensure commissioning leverage. - Support the CCG to develop the Negotiating Strategy. - Co-ordinate the modelling of scenarios including the impact of QIPP schemes and DoH Operating Framework. Experience: - Experience as a senior NHS commissioner - Significant experience as a contracts manager - Experience of leading the successful management of substantial contracts, including negotiation - In depth understanding of NHS policy, contract levers funding mechanisms particularly related to acute contracting e.g. PbR Initial telephone interviews for this position are currently ongoing so if you are interested then please let me know as a matter of urgency.
