ACTUARY - SOLVENCY II & REPORTING - BRISTOL

My client, a leading financial services company, are recruiting an Actuary, who has extensive experience in actuarial/reporting positions gained through Life Insurance.

OVERVIEW
Responsibilities centre on the reporting of the financial performance of life assurance and other PRA regulated companies.
In particular, they focus on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the balance sheet, the interpretation and analysis of the result and the reporting of the result to internal and external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Experienced qualified actuary - must have actuarial/reporting experience within Life Insurance and team management experience.
Strong track record of managing a finance reporting process in a large complex organisation and working across teams.
Self motivated strong team player, particularly in a change environment.
Strong Excel and analytical skills with the ability to explain financial results to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure both in isolation and with other teams.
Experience of IFRS and SII reporting for a large financial services entity
Proactively developing, maintaining and managing the production of complex financial statements and regulatory returns in the Insurance Finance function.
