Actuary - Fully Qualified

Actuary/Fully Qualified Actuary/Life Assurance/Financial Reporting/ALM or Investment Management/Asset Liability Management/Actuarial/Based in West Midlands, 6 month contract, day rate £700-1000 per day.

One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a fully qualified Actuary.

This is a key role, reporting to and supporting the Head of Asset Liability Management (ALM) in all aspects of Life Company ALM working with investment managers to ensure all related ALM activities carried out by them are completed.

Operating closely with other actuarial teams, to ensure all material aspects of actual ALM practices are reflected on models used, you'll carry out investigations and analyses to develop and implement strategies for managing, controlling and adding value in respect of market and credit risk - recommending changes to the investment strategies of life companies as required.

The Requirements

*As a qualified actuary, able to demonstrate strong technical and analytical skills, you must have recent life office financial reporting, ALM or alternatively a relevant and recent background in investment management.
*Engaged in widespread liaison across the business, you'll also need to be a confident communicator and presenter, who has a proven ability to assist in managing and mitigating risk within a Life business
