My client, a Leading Financial Services Company, is recruiting for an experience Actuary, to join their team initially on a 6 month Contract, based in Edinburgh.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Creation of financial models/spreadsheets to support decision-making for bulk annuity business
* Business analysis to determine the most appropriate way of executing internal bulk transactions
* Business analysis on issues relating to how we run new bulk annuity business
* Document processes relating to bulk annuity business
* Prepare committee/board papers & presentations
* Prepare papers/presentations for external parties such as regulators, trustees
* Understand and communicate the impact of regulations on the bulk annuity transfers/business
* Document what agreed at technical meet
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
* Strong knowledge of IFRS, ICA, Solvency II
* Business analysis
* Ability to work independently and take ownership
* Effective user of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
* Ability to present results clearly
