My client, a leading financial services company, is recruiting for an Actuary, who understands existing forecasting actuarial projects, to join the Finance Insurance division, on a 3 month rolling contract, based In Bristol.
OVERVIEW
Qualified Actuary or Junior/Senior/Part Qualified Actuary with 2 + years industry experience.
In depth knowledge of and ability to apply, actuarial concepts and techniques.
Life company experience, or exposure to life insurance through consulting engagements
Understanding existing forecasting actuarial projects
Ability to liaise with IT specialists and Business Analysts
Will be expected to design a more automated process
Knowledge of Solvency II modelling and reporting would be beneficial.
Ability to investigate key or unexpected outputs and investigate Issues.
Strong Excel skills - developing spreadsheets
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently where required
