Actuary

Actuary needed within a leading global insurance company based in the heart of Edinburgh.

The client is in need of a qualified/part-qualified Actuary to join the team on a large actuarial project that is currently ongoing within the company head office in Edinburgh. The role will involve modelling and testing specs as well as providing support to other areas with back fill. This will provide a strong platform to enhance experience within strong mix of actuarial duties. The project is initially contracted for 6 months however there is an extremely high chance of extension due to the work load.

Skills Needed for Actuary

- Part/fully UK qualified Actuary.
- previous experience working an actuarial focused role.
- Minimum of a BA (hons), preferably in a numerate subject.
- Ideally has experience working with MoSes.
- Strong communicational skills.
- Ability to hit the ground running.
