Actuary

Real Staffing are currently looking for an experienced Actuary to join a top tier bank in Bristol.

You will be working within the insurance Finance Reporting team, Responsibilities centre on the reporting of the financial performance of life assurance and other PRA regulated companies.

Key Qualification

- Sector Industry Experience
- Experienced qualified actuary
- must have actuarial/reporting experience within Financial Services (ideally Life Insurance) and team management experience.
- Strong track record of managing a finance reporting process in a large complex organisation and working across teams.

Key Experience

-Strong track record of managing a finance reporting process in a large complex organisation and working across teams.
-Including experience of IFRS and ideally SII reporting for a large financial services entity and experience of working in a Sarbanes Oxley environment.

Role priorities proactively developing, maintaining and managing the production of complex financial statements and regulatory returns in the Insurance Finance function. Improving understanding of the result and balance sheet of complex Life assurance entities to enhance the financial control environment; improving our ability to explain the result and balance sheet to internal (Group Finance)

Contract Details

Day Rate £650 - 850 per day

Start Date - December 2014

Contract Length - 3 - 6 months
