Actuary

My client is looking to bring on board an actuary to support their Non-Profit Model Analysis team in the analyses of IFRS, Solvency II and ICA results.

ROLE SUMMARY:

- Working as part of the Modelling team within Finance Operations you will be responsible for helping to analyse and validate modelled results before they are submitted to customers.
- The role will involve oversight of Model Production team deliverables and stakeholder management to ensure results are produced accurately and to agreed deadlines.
- There will also be a need to develop and simplify existing spreadsheets and processes and there will be various opportunities to support projects and model releases

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

- Junior/Senior Part Qualified Actuary with 3+ years industry experience.
- Life company experience, or exposure to life insurance through consulting engagements.
- Ideally the candidate will have experience of Prophet and Prophet Enterprise, as well as strong Excel skills.
- Knowledge of IFRS and SII modelling and reporting would be beneficial.
