Actuarial Test Lead, Southampton, SIT, UAT, Life & Pensions, 6 Months

TEST LEAD, SOUTHAMPTON, SIT, UAT, LIFE & PENSIONS, 6 MONTHS, £350.00 PER DAY

Required to have experience of working within and testing actuarial processes from both a SIT and UAT perspective. The initial delivery will require the individual to lead the transition of testing from the business into the existing managed service. Following the completion of the transition the individual will be required to lead the BAU testing using and mix of on and offshore test analysts.

Experienced Test Lead to lead the transition of actuarial SIT and UAT testing from a business lead delivery into a managed service. Following transition the individual would then be responsible for leading the ongoing delivery of SIT and UAT testing for the actuarial work stream, reporting through to the Release Test manager. This role requires an individual with a strong working knowledge of Actuarial processes as well as being an experienced Test Lead.

Specific deliverables will include:

- Create an effective transition plan for SIT and UAT testing

Delivery of the transition of SIT and UAT testing into the existing service

Build an effective testing team

Build strong and trusted relationships with the business

Create detailed testing plans

To identify the testing scope and agree this with the business

Extensive knowledge of HP QC to enable accurate test recording and MI reporting

Obtain sign off of test cases and test results from the business

Ability to plan and schedule testing for Test Analysts to conduct

Able to manage offshore teams to deliver to outcomes in alignment with the plan and schedule

Ensure defects raised by the team are recorded properly and contain the right level of information

Ensure quality of testing output aligns to the overarching test strategy

Be able to create accurate and timely reporting

Identify and manage RAIDS effectively

Guide the team in creating test cases where documentation may be limited
