Actuarial Prophet Modeller

One of our leading clients is looking to recruit an Actuarial Prophet Modeller.

Location - West Midlands
Duration - 5 months
Day rate - Approx £600-750 per day

This requires various levels of scheme and fund modelling experience to assess the impact of 'what-if' scenarios.

My client is looking for people who have direct experience of modelling in life and Pensions actuarial practice.

The modelling team are likely to work with current models to establish new models (Prototypes). There is also the need to either carry out intense scenario modelling but the team may instead be used to validate the modelling undertaken by an external supplier

Specifically this will involve:

*Achieving an understanding of existing models and day to day will need to maintain an up-to-date understanding of newly developed prototype 'analysis models' built within the team.
*Developing new model prototypes or have input into newly designed prototypes via the modelling process.
*Produce or validate model runs using pre-defined modelling principles and/or model prototypes. Model runs will be based on eg Prophet outputs and will need a working knowledge of Prophet and ideally Visual Basic.
*Maintain a high quality standard of your model running whilst documenting the progress using pre-defined documentation.
