THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- Consults with business on benefits designs, costs and financing alternatives.
- May provide functional guidance and training on specific discipline to actuarial team.
- Expectation is that in the beginning, this will be full time for the first three to six (3-6) months for training, roll-out, metrics report development, etc. Longer term, when we move to a run and maintain mode, it would be reasonable to be a part time role.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Provides high-level actuarial consulting services related to one or more of the following areas: regulatory compliance, Mergers and Acquisitions activities related to the financial aspects of employee benefits, health benefits and global actuarial oversight.
- Serves as primary actuary for a specific business or subsidiary.
- Performs actuarial valuations and certifies results.
- Assures compliance with laws, regulations and actuarial standards of practice.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Description The position will be supporting the collection, analysis and maintenance of data used to fulfil corporate metrics, Customer Care metrics, and One DuPont initiatives.
- The individual will also lead projects associated with metrics and data collection, including, but not limited to: Creation and presentation of supporting documents and charts; Tracking and conveying project updates; Merging data; Maintenance of data table. Advanced Excel-creating macros, merging data, very high level skills.
- Analytical thinking
- Two (2) years minimum of statistical experience preferred.
- Sharepoint experience preferred.
- Data driven by nature.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in statistics or mathematical statistics required.
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to further develop those skills.
- An ability to effectively communicate within the organization and ensure support for improvement projects.
- Demonstrated leadership capability.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Network and influence people.
- Team work skills
- Project management experience would be helpful.
- Experience in or desire to be involved in the process of organizational change and development.
